SANGER, CA - Down 20-7 late in the second quarter, Tomas Dixon returned a kickoff for a touchdown to breathe life into a Bullard squad on a two-game losing streak. But, the Knights fell flat in the second half as Sanger finished them off with a 39-20 victory Friday night at Tom Flores Stadium.
Tyler Franklin passed for 148 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions, but the Knights were unable to generate anything on the ground, amassing 32 yards as a team. Davien Potts led the way with three receptions for 55 yards and one touchdown and Israel Casteneda hauled in a 26-yard touchdown reception.
The Knights return home for the first time in over a month when they host Madera High next Friday at Fresno City College's Ratcliffe Stadium at 7:30pm for regional night and senior night.
